Who are we?

Namibia Special Risk Acceptances is a truly Namibian niche short term insurance business, focusing on the specialist & commercial market segments. Namibia Special Risk Acceptances is the sole & exclusive registered agent of a short term cell captive, wholly owned by the Natsure Group, which enables the underwriting of all classes of short term insurance business.

The Natsure Group is a leading Southern Africa niche short term insurer, with a heritage stretching back for more than 40 years, having been established in 1968. Through its actuarial approach to underwriting, its culture of partnerships as well as its focus on innovation and client service, the Natsure Group has positioned itself as a reputable market participant in each of its chosen niche markets. All business written, is underwritten through a dedicated and ringfenced Guardrisk* A.R.T cell captive arrangement.

We offer short term insurance niche products where we can differentiate ourselves from our competition and where we would have the ability to actuarially underwrite and price the risks. We therefore largely avoid commoditised products and markets and rather seek out opportunities that allow us to introduce profitable innovations into the market.
