We’re going green for #MandelaDay

Mandela Day, celebrated on July 18, is an annual international day adopted by the United Nations. It is more than a celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life and legacy, it is a global movement to take his life’s work into a new era and change our world for the better. Mandela Day asks us all to “Take Action; Inspire Change; Make Every Day a Mandela Day.”

Each of us can make a small difference. If we all make a difference together, our collective effort can truly change the world. Mandela Day is not a holiday. It is a day for all of us to opt into humanity – to roll up our sleeves and play an active role in building our communities. This is an opportunity for each of us to share Nelson Mandela’s vision of a better future for all.

Natsure Goes Green

We have decided to Go Green this year and we will be launching a few initiatives over the next few months to make every day, Mandela Day.

  1. Mandela Day Thursday 18 July

We will all be participating in a tree-planting initiative around Pretoria. Why plant trees? Trees are like the lungs of the planet and they play an important role in climate change. They also make our towns and cities greener and leafier and they relax us as well.

     2. Recycling at Natsure

We already recycle our used paper but we are ready to take the next step! Why recycling? Apart from the environmental impact supporting recycling initiatives also creates employment opportunities. From 18 July 2019 Natsure will we be disposing of recyclable waste and food waste separately.

We each have a responsibility towards our environment. Our company’s existence is not lonely, it is part of a bigger system of people, values, other organizations, and nature. Help us be a responsible business that meets the highest standards of ethics and professionalism!
